The Women’s Initiative’s mission is to encourage, promote, and support the advancement of women lawyers, creating an inclusive, equitable, and respectful environment where we can thrive.
Our Women’s Initiative is committed to nurturing leadership potential, fostering professional development, and supporting and respecting our women attorneys’ commitments and interests outside of the office. We strive to provide our women lawyers with the necessary resources, opportunities, and support networks to excel in their careers. We believe that diverse perspectives and experiences contribute to the richness of our firm, enhancing our ability to deliver exceptional legal services to our clients.
Ultimately, we hope to drive positive change and create a brighter future for women in law.
People
Meredith’s practice is primarily focused on commercial leasing (representing both landlords and tenants), including retail, restaurant, life sciences, industrial, and office, as well as acquisitions and dispositions of commercial property and other real estate interests.
Kate Moran Carter is a shareholder and director at Dain, Torpy, Le Ray, Wiest & Garner, P.C. Her practice focuses on real estate land use, and title litigation, and helping her clients manage risk and resolve disputes to avoid litigation.
Liz is a co-founder of Dain, Torpy, Le Ray, Wiest & Garner, P.C., the Chief People Officer and former co-chair of the firm’s leasing practice. Liz previously practiced in the area of commercial leasing, including both owner and tenant representation.
As an environmentalist personally and professionally, and a new attorney, Abigail has chosen to work in an area of law that allows her to touch the community through her commercial real estate practice.
Sarah McHale is an Associate at Dain Torpy, where she specializes in commercial real estate and land use litigation, alongside various leasing and transactional matters.
With experience in purchases and sales, financing, leasing, development projects, municipal zoning, land use permitting and public/private development agreements, Susan brings premier law firm experience to addressing your legal services needs on a personal level.
Molly Myers is a Shareholder and Director at Dain Torpy and has experience with a broad range of commercial real estate transactional matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, and leases.
Peggy Pappas is an experienced commercial real estate attorney with a sophisticated practice which includes representing real estate developers with acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, office and retail development, and residential housing development, both locally and nationwide.
Natasha is an associate in Dain Torpy’s litigation group. Natasha’s practice focuses on general real estate and zoning/land use litigation.
Shari’s practice focuses on real estate and finance matters, and the representation of institutional lenders and investors in various real estate and structured finance transactions.
