Abigail S. LaFontan
Abigail LaFontan is an associate at Dain Torpy. Her practice focuses on real estate and land use litigation and commercial lease transactions.
Abigail represents clients in a variety of litigation matters, including commercial landlord and tenant disputes as well as environmental, title, permitting, adverse possession, and other land use disputes. Abigail has represented clients in litigation, including motion practice and trials, before the Massachusetts Superior Court and the Land Court. Abigail’s leasing practice focuses on negotiating commercial lease transactions for an array of asset classes, including office and warehouse space in the downtown Boston and metro-west markets.
Prior to joining Dain Torpy, Abigail interned with the Conservation Law Foundation’s Strategic Litigation group, the National Environmental Law Center, and a private environmental consulting and engineering firm. During law school, Abigail received the distinction of top oralist of her school’s advocacy program two years in a row, participated as a member of the National Environmental Law moot court team, and taught an undergraduate course on Environmental Law and Policy.
